Number of years in current position:
Number of years involved with indirect sales:
How have you personally helped advance your company’s channel business over the past year?
Bluebeam has increased the number of channel marketing activities by over 300% which has resulted in approximately 60% growth for channel sales from 2013 to 2014. Stacey was the driving force behind this increase which she facilitated by meeting face-to-face with our resellers, encouraging them to offer additional Bluebeam promotions that would increase brand awareness. She also provided direct support to each reseller by helping them execute their marketing plans. Without this support, our Channel team would not have been as successful as we were. Stacey also worked with our e-learning software developers, Mindflash, to revise our Crash Course online reseller training program. This program has been extremely successful with participating partners who completed the entire program realizing a 400 percent increase in product sales over the previous year.
What are your goals for your company’s channel business over the next year?
Our Channel goals over the next year include adding more qualified resellers to our partner program. We also want to increase the overall percentage of company revenue of that can be attributed to Channel sales.
What programs/initiatives does your company offer to support women in the workplace?
Bluebeam strives to be supportive of employees by paying attention to each person as an individual. Each person’s needs are unique and the company is dedicated to listening to those needs in order to maintain a diverse and talented staff. This is reflected in flexible work schedules, evolving roles, in-house training, and opportunities for unlimited growth.
Who is your female role model?
My role model is my grandmother. She was a very successful business woman within her community at a time when that was not the standard.
What advice would you give to young women aspiring to succeed in the workplace?
I would advise young women to not let anyone push them around. Stand tall and let your opinions be heard. A lot of people don’t speak up for themselves and that’s a shame. I would also advise them to find a strong mentor who can help guide them.
What is your favorite novel and why is it meaningful to you?
My favorite novel is Little Women. I love the main character, Jo, because she’s independent and outspoken with a passion for writing.
What tips do you have on how to find work/life balance?
One of the reasons I love working for Bluebeam, is they really promote a work/life balance. The company philosophy is built around working hard, but having a great time in the process. I would recommend others to seek out an employer who understands that happy employees are also more productive.
